Thank God for this thread. I usually duck hunt a lot (Pierre Part and mouth of the Amite areas), my Dad's motor has been shot since early March, so no ducks this year. Yall's pictures have made it easier for me to not feel so bad about not getting to bag some birds, but I did get a couple does and an 8-point in Miss. No problem on the pics. May get a couple more.... Fighting the urge to go in the morning right now.
Re:Bands - we have not killed a single band this year. Although odd, they have dropped significantly over the past 6-8 yrs. There are fewer banded birds outside of the local bands (woodies, etc).
Re:MSWeb - agree. U may get a hunt with all of us next yr!
