I guess but holy cow. If you are fan of the team and the program at all, a BCS bowl is an ENORMOUS difference than playing in the capital one bowl. Huge for the program. A trip to Orlando isn't like going to Australia for two weeks. You have the rest of your life to go to Orlando.

Sugar Bowl but Cotton Bowl the Hornets play at the Mavericks the next night as well. Win win.

The biggest obstacle to LSU going to Padadena is Oklahoma. Rose would love an OU vs. Nebraska matchup imo. Has OU ever gone to the Rose?

Would be a nice test of how much national respect we've gained against OUs historical significance.

For LSU fans who want the Rose, root against OU and Oregon State.

Rose without a doubt. Free place to stay.

On a side note, I hope those bashing WAFB realize that had USC not lost, we would have gone to the Rose.
