he had an 08 Tacoma. I think he has enough experience to comment on this thread.
BTW- I have 22" wheels on my truck and not so much as a bad tie rod end yet. That's fricking amazing since these wheels weigh about 90# each.

I wasn't trying to come across like he didn't. I was trying to offer reasons why a person may prefer a mid sized truck to a full size.

My 08 had 18s and 33x12.50 Mickey Thompsons and I had to replace a front wheel bearing at 70k, but I wheeled it pretty hard. That's the only repair any of mine have needed.
Eta I wasn't knocking the Ecoboost. My dad, my brother, and my cousin all drive them and they are great trucks.
