Your analysis is spot on. I didn't expect to beat 5 highly ranked teams in a 6 week period with all of the attrition. The experience that Vadal Alexander & Trai Turner have against USCe, aTm, AL...leave me excited for next year. Mett found himself as did the receivers in a big time game with the world watching. I will take Jeremy Hill over Yeldon. Hill has power and speed; Yeldon has moves and speed...in the SEC the power is more important. You have to wonder if Tyrann was playing in the AL game if he doesn't blow the assignment like Mills did. Not saying Mills hasn't played well; he has all year. It all adds up to a bright future and a good finish for this year.

@CalTiger53

Comparison of Bama schedule and LSU schedule shows that we have done a great job the last 2 years and will have do the same next year as our schedule is far and above more difficult than Bama's for 3 years in a row.

Enjoy watching Alabama play in the SEC Championship and National Championship and Nick Saban hold up LSU's crystal football again and then tell me how sucessful you feel.

So 120 teams exist in Div I-A football and you award LSU the trophy, in your mind, before every year? Not very mature or intelligent of you. Shows a very clear lack of ability to live in the moment where all is possible. There's actually a freedom in being able to experience every thing without being devastated by every little thing that doesn't go your way.

Saban is, unfortunately, the best coach in college ball. Get over it. LSU will beat them sometimes and lose others. As long as Saban is at Bama, nothing you can do will change this pattern. LSU hasn't been on their 'A" game this year but they will continue to be a problem for Saban and Bama. No one else will out play Bama like LSU did on Saturday; not this year anyway. Things are still good with our boys.

Let's pump the brakes a bit (or, if you have anti-lock brakes, as most of you do, apply firm, steady pressure to them) - LSU is 7-2.

Let's get through the Grindtacular with a win and start talking about 10 or 11 wins. Let's get 8 with games left to play before we start counting to double digits.

One game at a time (particularly now that the only game that matters is past).
