Why do some simplstic posters insist that if you have any criticisms of Miles, you are a "Miles Hater"
I see very few posters who hate Miles.
Seems to me, if you are even handed and pay attention , you must acknowledge both Miles' enviable record of wins/ losses and his ocassional, but perissitent and stubborn boneheadedness on offense and clock management .
Why is this hard to grasp?

I have no idea.

I know some spew hate for him but if you think another coach is better or he needs to improve the offense you are labeled as a miles hater and a fan of another team. Why would I want LSU to improve if I was a fan of another team?

to deny there is a core of miles haters in our fanbase is ludicrious. and to assume that my post, albeit simplistic, refers to you or posters that merely critisize miles is egomanic. although you may qualify as being stubborn with your inclusion of miles clock management. he fricked up in that ole miss game, what 3 years ago? but the brand stuck. i've seen other coaches do the same or worse and see it every year.

Branding Miles' critics as "haters" is a trick intended to discredit his critics, without having to respond to the content of their criticism. How many times does it have to be said that name calling is the last refuge of the intellectually bankrupt?
