Here's some stats:
Before the final drive he was 9/21 for a mere 93 yards or so. After the final drive he completed another 4 passes for 75 yards and a TD. While I agree, he's good, I wouldn't act like he lit us on fire. The drives before the halves were pretty much their entire offensive production for the entire game.

As others have posted, there is clearly a problem with LSU's "two-minute" defense. I am not a football guru, but all fo the debate about whether LSU was in a "prevent" is largely about semantics. I would not characterize what LSU did as a classic prevent (rush only 3, drop 8, safeties deep), but the safeties were very deep and the coverage was soft. Whatever term you use to describe it, LSU has been torched in two minute defense by Carolina, A&M, and twice by Bama. It especially stands out because the D has otherwise been excellent.
