Yes Mett destroyed Bama with yards but LSU/Mett did not finish drives. Points were left on the field.

Finally, someone who gets it. No one said anything about Mett. The point is that when it counted most, McCarron came through. He is a champion. Period. Give me McCarron 100 our 100 times with our team, and LSU would be unbeatable. Period. Mett out played McCarron statistically for sure, but not when it really really mattered. That is what championship QB's do. They find a way when it really really matters. I am a fan of Mett. This is not about Mett. This is about McCarron, thus the titles "It's all about McCarron".

Screw McCarron. I don't care about McCarron. He's not on my team.

I'll give him credit, he is a very good QB.

After that, I don't give 2 craps about McCarron.

Not sure what you were trying to accomplish by posting this on the Tiger rant.

Not a chance. We would lose all 3 with him. I hope he comes back. I want him to cry for real next year as we make him regret returning and hurt his draft position if he even gets drafted.

That's a stupid sentence. McCarron is a good, smart player and he did come through when it mattered.

Mett came through basically the whole game and shredded Bama's D for the most passing yards in like five years. It was on LSU's D to finish it this night when LSU held the ball for almost 40 minutes. They should have been well rested.

Mett probably could have scored again, but we chose to run three times and kick a FG before Bama's last drive. At the end we were left needing a TD with no timeouts and less than a minute and bad field position.
