Fake field goal attempt......

After watching the replay of that call, if Alleman sticks to the outside instead of trying to cut it up the field that play may have worked. He had a lot of running room and the blocks were set up. He totally screwed that play up.
Has anyone else watched the replay of that and saw what I saw?

the play would have never worked. there were three safeties licking their chops. i can assure you that alleman couldn't have outran them for 12 YARDS.

Players should have checked out of it after seeing Bama in fg safe. That is on the players.

Hard to imagine him getting 12 yards when Bama had 3 safeties playing off the ball. That play should have been waived off when the staff saw that.

I did and don't think he would've ever made the corner. They were set up for it. Best case is you see them in a safe formation and call a TO to reset.

Calling it was a super risk... not calling time out or Alleman and Wing checking out of it didn't help.

You must be joking. It was a terrible call. Everyone knows it including clm. The only thing worse would be alleman up the middle on 3 and 5.

NO - this is on the COACHES. Les gets paid millions per year - you don't leave crucial calls to the players, that's why you're paid. 12 Yards...against Bama...I don't think so.

I don't recall Bama scoring that drive. So who cares now. Alleman has proven he can't make a kick consistently. We got the ball right back and he missed the kick.

Yep, saw the same thing. The kid can't run or kick. Why not try Hairston, he has a stronger leg.

Alleman probably misses the FG and then you guys complain about not punting or trying a fake or not tryin to throw for the first.

What pisses me off about Miles is that he picks a trick ay and sticks with it. Regardless of defensive set. He is gonna run it and that's the end of story. I would appreciate him "burning" a timeout and rethinking the decision based on situation/formation. He can't do it. He's gonna run a trick play and there's no arguing. IMO- the Warecat was the worst. It was rushed. I'll conceived and just stupid against a team known for middle defensive prowess. Should've given it to Hill. We win there if we get it.
