After rick and others find tdog they dont show them run out that same door, but end immediately back where they left herschel. or did they run out the door? i thought after daryl picked up the scarf it just switched to them back with herschel.

My thoughts. When Carol ran outside she had the scarf on her head. She knew where Herschel was so why wouldn't she just run straight there. I think when she ran outside but was then forced back in by walkers which is why her scarf was there by the door. So she is running through the prison. She then stumbles into the room with Lori. Somehow, she magically saves her because Carl pussed out and didn't shoot her.

I know Kirkman has said she is dead, so this is probably unlikely but this is my 2 cents.
