This one is for you, grandpa. He was like my father, but unfortuantely passed away when I was a senior in highschool due to alzheimer's. He'll be watching over us Saturday and getting us a win.

I know the feeling - the last game my Dad and I went to was the 2007 Florida game (Hester, Hester, Hester). I saw the game was on Fox last night...gets me every time.

Dad passed away two days before Thanksgiving last year; Dad and I watched LSU knock off Bama while he was in Intensive Care 3 weeks prior to his death - watched 1/9 NC game with Mom and my wife at her home - Mom diagnosed with pancreatic cancer 3 weeks later; fought bravely for 5 long months.....both parents died in our arms! Grateful for that!! Very long year, though....miss them both very much!

Paw-Paw lived in Sheveport and had season tickets; rode the KCS train to all the games. Took me to my 1st game in the 60's.

My daughter got her second degree in 4&1/2 yrs. at LSU in spring of 2010, and died 2 weeks later. We beat Bama on her birthday and sang "Happy Birthday" instead of the Alma Mater. Some of her ashes are under the big oak tree coming down Victory Hill. I stop and pour beer before the tubas blast the fight song.

I don't normally use emoticons, but...

Friend and brother, one of the most diehard LSU fans I know. Shared some awesome times in the student section with him and will never forget him.

To my dad who passed away Feb 29.. One of the most decated tiger fans out there.. I can remember going to games and him making us stand at the same exact oak tree for every game and when the drum major stopped the band and started playing those world famous four notes I would look over at him and there would be a big ole tear running down his face... As he was drifting away he made me promise him one last thing. That I would do whatever it takes to make sure he never missed the band coming down the hill or a tiger home football game. After trying several different high ranking officials in the school and athletic dept. no one would let me in. So I tried a different route and made one phone call and had access to the stadium one spring Sunday morning... Me and my brothers loaded up drove to BR and layed my dads ashes on the 50 yard line as well as the tree where he always made us stand... He is the reason for countless tiger fans in the Biloxi area.. So hears to you Big Les V... GEAUX TIGERS!!!

My grandfather was a HUGE LSU fan. Started me on it when I was young. He died right before the start of the 2003 season. I know he and my grandmother are on their clouds together smiling at what LSU has done over the last 10 years.

My grandfather died a year ago in September. He was a long time high school football referee in Baton Rouge and New Orleans. Great Tiger fan, and wonderful man! He is truly missed.

Lost my mom in May of 2008, but called her from the dome during the BCS NC in January of 08 vs Ohio State

I am hoping she helps out the tigers tomorrow night. I was with her when Les had that great game against UF in 07. I went nuts and was in disbelief. That was probably one of the best games I saw from LSU, based on what was on the line, the opponent, etc.

My best friend died the day after the the Towson game. The last song the pianist played before the organ music was Tiger Rag.
