I live right here in the midst of all the bammers so I catch it 365 days a year but I don't hate Nick Saban. My 9 year old son says it best "Daddy, we do like Nick Saban, he just coaches the wrong team."

Loved Saban as far as preparation, when it comes to preparing his team for the game he is the best in the business.
As a person he is a dick, plain and simple. He was a dick when he was at LSU as well, so it's not just the fact that he is at Alabama that people percieve him like that.
As a lifelong Dolphins fan, I could see pretty early on that his approach wasnt going to work in the NFL. You can scream at college players, throw tantrums and berate them pretty much all you want, because as a Head Coach you pretty much control their fate at the college level. The Pros are a whole different ballgame though, and he lost the respect of the Dolphins locker room in his first month in. Jason Taylor, Zach Thomas, Yeremiah Bell and several others were appalled when he casually stepped over Jeno James while he was convulsing on the field. That marked the beginning of the end for his NFL career. You cant treat people like that..
I hated to see him end up at Bama, first off because Bama is our biggest rival, and second because I knew that he would turn that program around.
Les Miles leads by building confidence in his players, creating a family-team atmosphere, and showing his players the respect they deserve and have earned.
No, I'm not butthurt that Saban ended up at Bama. I'll gladly take Les Miles as the LSU football coach.
All things equal, I'll take Les over Nicky as the LSU football coach.

I don't hate him. I appreciate what he did while he was here.
But there is no denying that the LSU-Bama series took on a whole new meaning- and became a lot more meaningful- when he landed there.
Me- I love it.
....and believe Miles will "pants" Saban once again this Saturday Night in Tigertown.
