As far as the Astro comparisons, I was checking them hard, but due to some trade ins I had and the fact that I wasn't aware about the firmware fixing the mic issues, the Trittons made for a better value (to me).
I don't knock em, though. I've never used OEMs for gaming, and would love to try a pair out to see if they're really better and how comfortable they are.

i switched from tritton to astro earlier this year, it lfelt like i was in a neck brace with the wieght of the trittons, astros are light and sound unfrickingbeleivable, also i noticed last week you can buy them at worstbuy now.
