Bama has played ONE Top 25 team!

Quit acting like Bama is unbeatable! They have played ONE (count 'em - ONE) Top 25 team, Miss. State. We have played THREE Top 16 teams - Florida, S. Carolina, and Texas A&M. I have no clue how our pitifully inept offensive plays can beat Bama's defense, but I will not give up before we fight in the game and will not succumb to any fear. If that's the case, why ever play anybody ranked higher than you? Come on - show up and give it your best on the field and in the stands! Go Tigers!

The combined record of the teams from MSU's 7 wins is 20-37.
Three Sunbelt teams (One in its 1st FBS year): Troy, MTSU and South Alabama
One FCS team: Jacksonville St
Three bad SEC teams: Auburn, Tennesse & Kentucky
If MSU had to play USCe, UF and Texas A&M already, they would have 3 additional losses.

It doesn't matter where you are ranked in the early biased polls, or where you are ranked when you play somebody. You count only the poll of the latest week, since that shows how good you've really played!

Gotta throw in that fact as well.
It's no secret that Bama's sked is weak and a lucky break for them.
LSU is the only team with a shot at beating them.

They aren't unbeatable, but they have played a lot better against inferior teams than we have.
We are the underdog in this game and that's how we should be feeling. I really enjoy being the dog in these types of games, because it motivates our team to prove everyone wrong and show us how much heart they have invested in this game.

1st SEC home game of the year for Auburn.
LSU always seems to play Auburn early when we are breaking in a new starting QB, and late, when Auburn is breaking in a new starting QB.
The fumble on the goalline and Mett's fumble on our own 23 set the tone for a tough battle. It kept the team and crowd in the game.
AU has pretty much given up now and will finish 0-8 in the SEC.
