Could this game be like Ga. 03?

I was reading through some old articles and stumbled upon this. I thought it was a good read. Especially the description of the game and the role fans play. Do you guys think there are any similarities between these two games in the way that that LSU is the underdog? Fwiw I would be thrilled with these same results!

I just don't see it. The way our fans are today, I think they'd boo after a Bama score rather than get behind the team with chants of encouragement.

I don't know, but that day, and going to that game were the best LSU experiences of my life. The atmosphere for that game was unbelievable. I was only 13 at the time and the the scene at Gameday on the pmac ramp was awe inspiring.
