Damn good question, there are several rumors and all were denied by the D'backs, but they would never say what it was he did. It was really weird, one day he's out of the booth and everyone figured he'd be back in a week or so, but nope he was never allowed back with the D'backs but he did do some national broadcasts for Fox.

Because the dbacks told him not to wear a suit during broadcasts and he did. They wanted him to wear a polo shirt with the dbacks logo instead. I am 100% serious!
