Good job on the itinerary.
If you park where you show, Mike's cage is on that side of campus. Sooo, make sure you get over to the parade grounds, Indian Mounds, Greek Theatre areas as well.
Also, I do suggest eating at Chimes. If you get there before 1115 or so the wait will be short.

That's a damn good plan. That area to park would be much easier to get out after the game. But if you leave right after, you should plan to sit there for at least an hour. Like someone else said, plan to head back to a tailgate after the game and let traffic die down. You'll still be waiting, but at least you can have fun instead of sitting in the car.
That said, if you can, get a hotel in Baton Rouge, but do it soon as they all may be booked already. If you do, plan to park somewhere different as Nicholson (Hwy 30) and Highland are meant to get people out to the South.
And also, like someone said, go for the game. Chimes is good, but you would have a much better time walking around campus. Chimes can always be done at a smaller game. Plus, you can get free food and drink vs. paying, and you'll likely wait a while.
One thing, where you plan to park is the SW side of campus and the Indian mounds/Hill, Mike's cage, and stadium are all on the west side. The campus is huge and if you stay in that area you'll miss so much. You'll likely run into many, many people on that side, but try to head east and north and check out those parts of campus (Chimes is at the center North gates).
As for Friday night in New Orleans - there are so many restaurants that you can't go wrong. Ask the Concierge at the hotel and he/she can help you out on what you're looking for. Don't do any of the touristy ones. If you want, you can grab something Sat AM, and Camilla Grill is good, but out of the way from downtown heading toward BR. And depending on when you fly out, you can try to catch brunch in the quarter Sunday AM.
