we have tickets to the alabama game 11/3/12 and have never attended a game in baton rouge (or any sec venue for that matter).
we leave san diego on friday 11/2/12 and will stay the night in new orleans. everything from saturday morning forward is open and dedicated to lsu football.
i am hoping some people on this board can give us pointers on how to best enjoy the experience of gameday. i have seen the fan guide provided by the university but was looking for more specifics from people that go to these games on a regular basis (parking, tailgating, gotchas).
