For Those With The Chrome Gif Issue

I came across this...

quote:

type "chrome://plugins/" in your address bar.

find the flash player that has a location that says something like "google\chrome\application" (may have to hit the + to expand the flash section)

disable it


restart browser

go to flash website and make sure that YOUR version is up to date



Give it a shot and maybe report back if that fixed or didn't fix.

I tried that a few weeks ago, along with clearing the cache, after just disabling the duplicate version of the plugin didn't help. Fixed gifs but did nothing for the crashes. Problem is exclusive to TD. Chrome is awesome for everything else, but it and TD's ads just don't get along.

I think you can use flash, just make sure it's the up to date version.
