You can't just "punch it in" everytime you get in the red zone against a defense like that. You seriously know nothing about football if you think its that easy.

SC's D is great, I get that. But the play selection is questionable in the red zone. Agree?

Look I know everyone is tired of seeing us run the ball. It is boring. I get that. But we averaged 5 yards a carry last night and were fricking mauling their defensive line last night.

With that said.

In the redzone last night we did pull out a double move and Jarvis Landry was wide open for days. Mett over threw him. Should have been an easy touchdown. If we score that TD, I don't think there are quite as many complaints today. That was a PERFECT play call.

I will say that the fade to Nic Jacobs in the corner was a little strange. But again, it was a pretty lousy throw from Mett.

Scoring touchdowns in the red zone against a terrific D like USC is no easy task. That is my only point.

I dont know what play call I would rather see. Mett has thrown a couple red zone picks on balls over the middle this year and threw one last night (not in the red zone. And we were mauling their defensive line last night, so I don't know what I would have rather seen last night than what we did. I wish we would have not had the false start on the fourth down from the one because that forced our hand in kicking a field goal.

What would you have wanted to see us run down there last night?
