1. The whistle blew

2. Taylor's elbow hit the ground short of the goal line, as indicated by photo evidence:





3. Taylor lost control of the ball as he tried to stretch it over the goal line.

4. A Stanford O-lineman recovered the ball, but in college as in the pros, a ball fumbled on 4th down cannot be advanced, so the ball returns to the spot of the fumble. Game over.

5. Evidence to overturn the call on the field must be irrefutable, which hardly occurred here.

Mark May, the haters and the Stanford whiners call all suck it.

Looks like the refs made the right call. The elbow was down before he extended the ball. Good angle there.

Back to ND/STA. Piece all the shots together. Field level shot from inside near the goal post shows the left elbow is not down before TD.
