Tulane is Tulane, but the U is worse... that's a top 5 program of all time and they deserve better support

They should end that abomination of a program.
No. They need that new stadium by the school.

The U is not a top five program. Not even close. They were irrelevant for 50 years, dominant for 20, and then average after that.
That would be like calling the Saints a top 3 all time NFL team if Drew Brees won two more Super Bowls.
Programs better than Miami:
Notre Dame
USC
Alabama
Texas
Ohio State
Michigan
Oklahoma
Nebraska
Those for sure.

i was born in '86 btw... you look at the overall impact on CFB and the impact NFL players produced and the U might be top 2 with Notre Dame
i happen to think anything before integration wasn't the same game... hell they made a documentary about Harvard-Yale in 1968. bet they wouldn't do that now

But once the rest of that incredible 01 team and before retires, they will be just another program.
Seriously, after Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, Jonathan Vilma and Reggie Wayne retire, you're left with Jimmy Graham, Devin Hester, Andre Johnson and what? A declining Frank Gore and Willis Magahee?
