So I guess the play calling was not a problem last year or the year before. That makes three years in a row when we have played offense by defense. I would say the last time we had any variety was with Jamarcus. Bottom line is Miles's team are best with a dual option QB. Randall, Flynn, JJ . If you think that injuries and execution are the only reasons we struggle on offense then you are in denial. Miles will never open up the offense. It is not in his pedigree. A lot of those points we scored last year were on defense, special teams and the defense getting us the ball deep in the opponents territory. If we can't have a new OC then only recruit dual threat QBs and stop with the drop back passers. At least we will have more plays to call.

New OC is needed. Not that I fault Sudwara with the game plan he had coming in. I fault him for not adjusting! Each game in the SEC is crucial and without any adjustments after a failed 1st half, you are a failure!

Everyone always says the 2007 offense was still Jimbo's, and maybe the X and Os were. But just as a fan with an average knowledge of football, the 2007 offense looked very different to me. More inventive, more spread out, more QB running and options. Jimbo's offenses were often stagnant too under both Saban and Les.

The problem really isn't the play calling this year. And if people haven't caught on yet that Les is the OC I'm sorry that people have to deal with their stupidity. OC hires will only change the flavor of the same type of offense.

It really seems that this year we do call way more pass plays but The bad WR and OL play have hurt. but we still do call a lot of run plays up the gut for no gain.

My football IQ is too low to know, but maybe the scheme really is just too simple or whatever that the offense can't find any way to move the chains.

On the Staff you got Miles, Krag, Stud, Ensminger, and Henry who have all been Offensive Co-Ordinators/QB Coaches, etc.

Crowton And Stud have one thing in common: Les Miles

Expect more of the same for SC. Was the BCSNC game a mirage? Did you not see it? LSU fans are both dedicated and gullible.

The truth has always been that Les Miles was handed the Keys to the KIngdom. His coaching philosophy has finally touched all aspects of the program. It just took a while...

The more things change, the more they remain the same.

Then why was our offense so much more productive last year with a pocket passer and regressed (horribly) when LM reinstalled his prodigal son? And surely you aren't talking about Marcus Randall as a better QB?

Why??? Watch how many points and yards La. Tech puts up on A&M and compare it to our production. If this O doesn't magically reinvent itself, I bet Tech. doubles our O output. That should not be the case unless Tech.'s players or coaches are superior. Maybe Jindal can order that both teams switch offensive players and coaches for the remainder of the season.

Note to condescending assholes: Not everyone has to spell words correctly to make state a thoughtful opinion. This is a message board for entertainment purposes. Some people have dyslexia or some other condition that may make their spelling capabilities impaired. That shouldn't limit their participation on this board.
