My point is that Ryan stats are better than Brees' after the first 5 years of each's career but Ryan sucks and Brees is the GOAT.

I didn't realize the first 5 years was the only comparison between the two.

Completely different NFL now dude in terms of passing.... But I bet you use that line of thinking when Brees breaks records.

I know, 0-3 is only acceptable if his name is Dree Brees.
Brees has never lost 3 games in a row in any postseason stretch. He's never lost back to back postseason appearances actually. I doubt his offense was ever shut out in a postseason appearance either
In those losses he is 137/214 (64%) for 1539 yards (385/g) with 10 touchdowns and 4 interceptions.
Safe to say he came to play in almost all of those losses

Brees elevated his game to an elite level when he came to the Saints with 2 of the best seasons in NFL history. He also has arguably the greatest playoff stretch in the 2009 postseason (no turnovers, 9 touchdowns). Super Bowl MVP in record breaking performance (against Payton Manning),two 5,000 yard seasons, most consecutive throws in the postseason without an interception, set the completion record twice, etc.
If Ryan ever gets to that level, he'll get the credit. Right now, in reality, Ryan just doesn't measure up to Brees. Bashing Brees in comparison to Ryan is just laughable
