Run a search as there have been a few reports over the past several months.

If you like sweetbreads, their's is great. I also got their scallops on foie gras and I think this is one of the best dishes in New Orleans.
The trio of home made ice creams are very good, especially the crunchy peanut butter ice cream.
Enjoy yourself, this will be a great meal.

Me and the SO are heading there Saturday...hopefully. The problem is the open reservation times don't work with our schedules. How bad is the wait without a reservation?

Been twice now (once for dinner, once for lunch). Best dishes I had were the frogs legs, trio of quail, sweetbreads, short rib, death by gumbo and the salumi plate. The lobster pasta is the best of the pasta dishes, IMO. Sizzling oysters were just alright. I'd skip them. Along with all of the salads.. nothing to write home about.
The Lorepa is their best cocktail. And the wine list is pretty impressive.
Enjoy it. Don't expect too much of the service. It's decent, but not up to standards considering what the restaurant is trying to be.

Good luck. Maybe try sitting at a bartop in the bar area

It really doesn't matter to me. She's insisting on paying

Service was spotty, food was great. I woul go back once they've had enough time to work kinks out. Do a search to find my whole review.

You'd be better off at Dorsia
