It really makes the show more interesting, makes me want to go back and see what other references I'v missed.

Last nights episode was my least favorite so far. It was ok - possibly even decent, but not up to the previous standards.
I'm willing to bet it was the first conceived/written/filmed post initial pilot and first few episode order.
For one thing, there was no flashback - probably because they didn't have time/opportunity to film a bunch of new island scenes quickly - they'll go back and film multiple episodes worth of island scenes for future episodes, I'm sure.
Because of that, it felt like a departure of the main storyline - which is fine, but it was the first time they've had to do it, which makes it feel a little forced. Of course, this raises interesting possibilities, and the arc will clearly be about Oliver having to figure out if he's out for revenge or justice, and face the darker side of what he's doing.
Also did not like the acting of Huntress at all.
