There is no way we are ahead of ND and I am an Oregon fan. I wouldn't feel like we deserved it if ND can get through their schedule unscathed.

you are already ahead of Notre Dame. It would be unprecedented for an undefeated #2 team to fall like that in the human polls. I know the "media" loves Notre Dame, but Oregon is now a brand name in their own right. Besides, their schedule is not that much tougher. OU and USC vs USC and maybe USC again. Remember you play USC first, so will them beating a twice beaten USC seem as impressive.

ETA: The only team that will move ahead if they win out is South Carolina. Their schedule > Notre Dame. My prediction undefeated SEC Champ is in and so is Oregon if they win out, no matter who else finishes undefeated.

Am I the only one that thinks Notre Dame's schedule is strong enough but being a bit exaggerated?

ND plays these Top20 teams:

Stanford, @Oklahoma, USC

Oregon (to go undefeated would likely) play:
Stanford, USC X2

Are Michigan, Michigan St, BYU, Miami that much better than Oregon St, Arizona, Arizona St, Washington?

ND has less absolute cupcakes than Oregon but seriously no team other than any these above should be close to challenging a potential NC team.
