#1 Striker
#2 Striker
#3 .... you get the picture
I want an accomplished striker who finishes everything he gets.
But I would also like a couple of goal scoring technically sound wingers. A CAM and a backup DM would be bonus but I can dream. A back up LB is far down on my list.

How long does his contract run for?
I still think it was a terrible career move for him.

Agreed it was a bad move but at the end of the day somebody had to meet Porto's valuation and I don't think the big English clubs were really convinced about Hulk. He signed this summer so most likely 3.5 or 4.5 years left on his contract.

It was a terrible move. Oh well.

for what Porto were asking, I think maybe PSG would have been his only option...
because I dont think he would fit in with any of the Spanish big boys and italy doesnt have that kinda cash.
I would be weary of signing with Porto, at least agreeing to include those huge release clauses in my contract... you def limit the club you can go to... James Rodriguez is the next one that will command a huge fee, with Jackson martinez not that far behind him...

It is not possible.Because Higuain's agent his father clear that he will not leave the Madrid. He is happy in Madrid.

Iaquinta on trial with Celtic?
quote:
Vincenzo Iaquinta is not planning on leaving football even if the player has not had much game time recently. The Juventus attacker, who has recently been on the margins of the "bianco neri" team, could possibly leave Turin in January and go to Celtic, a team which could yet play against Juventus in the Champions League. Celtic have organised a trial for the centre forward to assess his condition as he has had numerous injuries of late.

Laudrup must have been drunk if he thinks anyone other than Roman is going to drop 30 for Michu.

Sounds like a good way to keep him there.

As I was saying yesterday, we can afford him, but we couldn't get him to come. We're too far away from contending and I think AW has lost a bit of his allure.

There's a difference between having enough money to buy him and being willing to actually spend £30m on him.

I don't see your logic on this issue. Because we didn't spend money when we didn't have it, we won't spend it now that we do have it. That doesn't make any sense to me. We have copious amounts of cash and we will spend.
As for Götze, I've heard Wenger talk about him more than any other noon-Arsenal player over the past 3 years. We have scored him thoroughly. It's my opinion if there's anyone Wenger would break the bank on, it's him. Would not be shocked at all to see us meet his buyout clause. Would be absolutely shocked if he chose to come to us.
I know you think I'm delusional about our spending, but you'll eat your words come August. Champions League or not, we will spend £50+M over the next two transfer windows.

Arsenal have spent £100m the past 2 seasons. I don't see how Wenger could justify spending half his transfer budget on a midfielder when Arsenal already have the "best" midfield in the PL. Additionally, I am very curious to see what will happen if Arsenal lose CL. Fire sale or splash more cash?
