The "burden" is not being able to make large purchases without having to check every damn time and then wait a day or two until payment applies.
Also, with Chase, you can't "pull" pay on their site more than once every 3 days. You can get around this by "pushing" the payment from your bank, but if you are doing both at the same time you can forget how much you set to pay. It really is a pain in the arse at times.
This, this, this.
It's incredibly frustrating to have money to pay for purchases, but have a double bottleneck of having to wait till a payment posts in order to pay for it, and then needing to wait 3 days before being able to make another payment.
Im getting to the point of breaking down and "demanding" a CLI.
Card holder for 3 years, really started using it heavily the past 5 months, have been averaging 2.5 times my CL a month, and I don't keep a balance.

This, in a nutshell. Last month I bought a gift for my girlfriend and this month I had to replace my two front tires. Having to check my balance before annoyed me, and having $70 available credit over the weekend pissed me off something fierce

Sometimes I go to sleep and I dream of being able of making my purchases and not to have to worry about my balance and strategically making payments.
Just sit back, live my life, and let the "pay balance" in full autopay feature take care of the rest.
But then I usually wake up and check to see if my car insurance payment posted so I can clear up that space on my limit.

And in a fit of ironic timing, after that meal I now have 4 dollars left on my credit limit till midnight, when a payment equal to around 115% of my credit limit hits

Glad I could hit the nail for every body.
ETA: Volvagia, remember, you can "push" the payments from your checking account. That should help speed it up if you need to do it.
Until I get filthy rich, I don't think I'll ever stop timing purchases. If its a big purchase that can wait a few days, I'll let the closing date pass and purchase at midnight, giving me 30 extra days to pay it off than if I would have purchased it 2 minutes earlier.
You never know what can happen in that 30 days.
