They are, and they also represent the emotional state of particular members a lot of times. I think this season we are looking at the resistance as a whole.

The first episode the Resistance doubted everything Walter and crew could do.. and ultimately Walter doubted himself once his memory had been erased.

Continuing on from the last seconds of last weeks episode, Walter ha replaced that doubt with Hope, hope that a Dandelion WILL grow from the scorched earth, and the resistance has seen the power one group of people can hold, to building hope for everyone... including the Loyalist.

also Bell...they got his hand for what again? Is he dead, electric current, in another time line, or just frozen in amber?
