headline story on yahoo. this is an example of what is wrong with todays news.
the headline is that he has BLOWN $30 million since 2008
when u read the article it says he spent the money the following ways
so he spent $22.8 million of the $30 million responsibly, and with having kids and such i think its pretty reasonable that he couldve spent $5.5 million on living expenses the last 4 years, and would imagine that is less than a lot of his teammates
how can they even count the money paid in taxes amongst money spent?

The gossip site got a hold of some of the NFL player’s bankruptcy papers and found that Vick paid$10.9 million in taxes, $9.2 million to creditors, and $2.7 million to accountants and lawyers. That adds up to $22.8 million. The rest of the money was apparently spent on child support, living expenses, and other purchases.

Doesn't sound like he spent his money wisely. I'd consider that blowing it.
Why did he owe 9.7 to creditors? You don't just "spend" $30mm

I thought this was high but then I remembered he had a little legal problem.

God bless America and the "new American dream."
