After getting a good laugh from reading some of yalls comments. Im reading and reading, it becomes almost to a point of annoyance how much denial all of you are in about Les and about Nick.

ETA: Les won the Championship with previously developed players in 07.

oh jesus christ, knew that was coming eventually. just stop now. then most of saban's success at bama is because of shula. that is the most ridiculous argument every time someone brings it up, yet people still go back to it

I must reiterate.
quote:

You and your father are both retarded.

LSU has never had it so good as with Miles leading the team.
You and dad sit down and have a look at the records book in the media guide and stare at each other in wonderment of how wrong you've been all this time.

Les took those players with a season of development and did more with them than his predecessor.
Saban's players under Les Miles savored more victories and successful seasons than any players before them.....yes even the ones under Saban.

and

I love how you set up the thread with comments like
quote:

Quote:
"some I just didn't want to believe but they were indisputable facts", and

Quote:
"I thought about what he said on the phone for a minute to try and fire back with a "ohh that's bull shite" but I couldn't muster up the words", and even

Quote:
"I love Les and I love LSU and the results of the program are fantastic"
only to wait for replies to unleash your true negatiger hackness. Great job hack!

You and your father do know that one of the main reasons LSU's (that's right LSU's not Chavis') defensive statistics are so good is because of Miles' system of ball control offense right? And field position also contributes a great deal to the defensive stats, so chalk up one for the special teams as well.

You see, something that seems to be lost on you and your dad is that football is a team sport. And the HC is in charge of/responsible for ALL OF IT! You've gone negatiger on Les for the LSU offense but give no credit for the LSU defense or special teams? If he's responsible for the offense (ie the bad part in your eyes, see comments above for a possible different perspective) then he must get credit for the defense and special teams (the good part). It's his program and "master plan" and he is 80-18 since he has been here, but apparently that's not good enough for you and your father.

I guess he needs to have the #1 rated defense, #1 rate scoring offense and #1 rated special teams before he will make some people happy.

But then again maybe not, you just can't please some people no matter what.

Props to his ability to plug into a good opportunity. But let's also look at his pinnacle year 2011-12 - went undefeated in regular season, won SECCG, but lost (and I mean LOST) the biggest game in the history of LSU on 1/9. Repeating: for whatever reason, *CLM lost it. He did not have an answer for Saban's Alabama; he and LSU looked woefully unprepared out there that night - like cannon fodder - as if LSU hadn't previously beaten Bama in Tuscaloosa and won all its games.
