I'll answer your question, but it may not be the answer you want. Could have spent a majority of the money adequately on bolstering up the defense and should not have let Nicks go(I thought he escaped too easy and that pissed me off). Also, Drew has hit his peak IMO. We should be looking at a young QB protege for Brees in the upcoming draft or FA to groom for the next 3 or so years. Chase Daniel is not an NFL starter.

So what SPECIFIC players would you have gotten to "bolster" the Defense, and what would you have paid them.
