3 straight weeks now we've had different guys starting on the OLine

we had one different guy…. Josh D…. as in 6th year Senior, former starter, tons of experience Josh D…. sure he was "out of position", but who's fault is that? i'm sure he put himself at LT, right?

either way, my point remains… we've heard the whole "we'll get better" speech after each game this season…. and yet we still don't get it in gear and resort to the same excuses…. against good teams, we WILL get our asses whipped, and then what will be the excuse?

Mett was rushed like crazy last night.

we didn't play Florida State, or Bama, or even Arkansas last night…. we played TOWSON…. let me repeat…. TOWSON…. if our offensive line cannont handle a 2 LB blitz with 4 down lineman from vaunted TOWSON, what the ever living frick do you think teams like Florida, S. Carolina, and Bama or going to do to our offensive line??? you can keep with the excuses, but really there is none….

It even happened last year when we were #1.

let me clue you in, since you obviously don't have one…. it's going to continue to happen!! and guess what, chief, this ain't the only fanbase that voices displeasure, despite their team succeeding on the field… and the day it stops is the day i want nothing with this program…. complacency is not a good thing…. they could beat the Super Bowl champs straight up and i want them to continue to strive to get better…. \

The only true lack of discipline I've seen is in the amount of penalties I've seen. Some of them really shouldn't have been called. But the personal fouls just shows a break down.

excuses… they work wonders don't they…. and what exactly did the PF's show a "break down" of?? teams that play disciplined don't accrue multiple PF's…. they just don't….;

Mett with time has shown great things.

same could be said for 70% of QB's in major college football… you are stating the obvious, but ignoring the elephant in the room…. if the pass rush is getting Mett killed now, what do you think he's about to face??? he plays in the SEC (the Jr. league to the NFL), with the most talented, fastest, and most instinctive defenders around…. yeah, it's not about to get EASIER, and that's why people are concerned….

it's not that people aren't happy we are 5-0… so please, PLEASE stop throwing this stat around like some sort of golden nugget that it ain't…. the truth is this team, as CURRENTLY constructed and performing has done nothing that would lend credence to any hope that we can navigate the rest of the waterway without a few holes in the hull….. and that's the real CONCERN that people are trying to voice….

Against Idaho we had a different starting C since Lonergan was banged up.

Against Auburn we had what should be our normal 5.

Against Towson we had Hurst at LT and Vadal at RT.

3 different lines 3 different weeks.

So you are saying. That Towson blitzed more than 5 people regularly to stop the run. Was in Metts face a few secs after the ball was snapped. And you don't believe this to be on the OLine? Look at my above statement about our OLine.

Umm I agreed with you here? there were no excuses. The PF's were completely on the players who committed them. They weren't baited into it. They just did something stupid.

And in terms of protecting the QB.. Look at how Tyler Wilson is doing without a OLine blocking for him. That's a extreme case of what was arguably the 2nd best QB in CFB. Don't protect the QB. Don't expect the Offense to move.
