What are there other choices? They have a contract with the SEC to show a certain amount. CBS picked up the good one this week. Jefferson Pilot/SEC Network/Lincoln financial got one...they are showing all others. I think any game that includes a top 2-3 program will get some viewers that aren't fans. I used to watch Michigan, Miami,Nebraska, FSU games any time I got the opportunity in the 90's.

It has happened at many other schools and it's just now starting to hurt LSU by paying for parking for games like this. Less people in attendance, less concession stand sales.

ESPN had no choice but to pick up the game. LSU already did their PPV game in Idaho, ESPN is contractually obligated to pick up the rest.

ESPN should be ashamed...but MOSTLY LSU !

Exactly.
Tailgating at LSU is what's taking the beating from it to.
Not what I used to be.
Sme people are perfectly fine with it, makes no sense to me.
