yes his contract is for 9 million + next year and 10 million + in 14
There is no team in football that will trade for that. I feel so strongly about this that I wrote there is LITERALLY no chance. I fully realize that it is technically possible to trade him....but it really isn't...have a great day.

If we get a top 5 pick trade it. We don't draft well in the first round, and we need as many players we can get on D to see real improvement. At least a 2 defensive lineman, 2 OLBs that can start that year. An offensive tackle would be nice too.

kinda hoping for either 7-3 or 3-7 by Week 10. They moved the trade deadline back that far. We might actually see a few rent-a-player trades like in MLB now. If on the way poor side I'd love to pick up any picks for Smith and Ellis to a contender.

did not know...I suppose it would be possible for somebody to grab Smith who was a serious contender and then just cut him at the end of the year. He would have to not be suspended though and would have to play at a higher level than he currently is to warrant that kind of move. I don't see anyone giving up anything for Ellis.

Ha, no worries amigo. I'm not looking for anything special for smith. More just looking to get a pure pash rusher and replace that high salary. With the way he is playing, I agree finding a taker will be tough.
