Here in Lake Charles, the one on MLK is worthless, but the ones on Prien Lake Rd and on Country Club Rd. are still pretty good.

Popeyes is an intesting story. I actually know the CEO and VP of Marketing. The company definitely wrestles with it's identity and the perception of being an ethnic business. Popeyes has grown tremendously over the past 10 years. Much of this is due to a change in the American food market(organic this and low cal that) and KFC recognizing that there are better opportunities in Asia and leaving the States. In many cases Popeyes has stepped into the voids created when KFC jumps ship.

Lake CharlesCountry Club Rd.Yep. Great staff at that location. It's the only one I go to in Lake Charles. I often hit Ball's on Common St. when I'm in that area.

When I lived in LC I always went to the one on CC. Best Popeyes I have ever been to. The staff was more like a chick fil a staff.
