I played there a good bit earlier this summer when teaching my son to play. The course is not real tough and was in pretty decent condition (not sure how much impact Isaac had). There isn't a lot of out of bounds but most fairways are treelined.(the kid loves it since there are no houses on the course to hit) They have 27 holes and pace of play is usually not too bad. Since you want to play early on Saturday, it may be a little slow since the older guys get out there early.

You might try Joe Bartholomew course (near Lakefront Arena). It's a much better course and in great shape but early Saturday may be tough to get on.

So you would prefer Joe Bartholomew over Bayou Barriere?

Also, Stonebridge has some times that would accommodate me on Golfnow but says "resident only". Does that mean only Stonebridge residents?
