I dont mind where I sit as long as I can see an appreciate the game. So what would be a good price range for two tickets ?
Also would it be better to go down and try to buy tickets off people outside the arena ?

70 total will get you two good upper deck seats for most games. the games are set so that prices go up for better teams. so the better the team the hornets play, the more expensive the tickets.

not really. stubhub would be your best bet if you don't wanna buy them off hornets.com

It really depends on which game you are going to. Lakers game will be waayyyyy more expensive than a Bobcats game. You can get in some games for as low as $10 per ticket, and high profile games will be at least $50 to get in the door.

Stubhub is your best bet. You can get decent upper deck tickets for $10-20 per ticket. I'd say avoid the upper deck tickets behind the goal. At that point it's just better to watch the game on tv, in my opinion.
