Why wait until the 3rd quarter to help?

Look bottom line someone called a 3rd down play with a 0 backfield and 5 WR's in an obvious down-and-distance situation where everyone knew we were passing.

Keeping the TE or a back in the backfield to either chip or personally protect did not make or break that play.

The expectation for that play in the playbook is for the LT to go one-on-one. That's a dumb coaching move to think 68 can execute against 55 in that situation. If you aren't aware of your player's limitations, or you just flat out don't care, then that's a sign of poor coaching.

Someone saw that play and literally thought it could work. 68's simply not capable of handling that responsibility, and it cost us a shot on the QB, a TO, and 7 points.

Dumb coaching to call that play and there's no excuse for it. Make the adjustment before you see a problem.

Stop playing defense with your offensive adjustments. Start being proactive and we'll see better results.
GFunk for OC!

Oh wait.... Does he have the chest for it?

Probably not!
