Should Towson gameplan be 20:80 run pass ratio?

I am trying to think of a few reasons why it shouldn't be at
least 70%, but cant other than Les probably believes it lacks class.

What does LSU have to prove in a running game against Towson? Throw the rock.

There is no reason to pass the ball against Towson and I doubt LSU will try to do so. What good is "proving" you have a passing game against Towson?

This is a horrible idea.

Try 40/60 run pass at best. Pass too much and you get predictable or show too many route combinations

It should be Let met Toss it deep on a standard pass play or two, Then a couple of short passes, then sit his arse down and put River in there to get some experience. The run the ball down their throats all night long.

Who said anything about proving? These guys need reps and a game is the most live reps they can get in a week.

If you're gonna expect anything different than the gameplan we've seen for the last five years, I think you're gonna be fooling yourself.

Oh trust me, I agree we need reps. The dropped passes show the receivers need them. We are holding out for the games like Florida, USC, and Alabama. Just telling you, don't expect anything different.

Why? You want to play a 4-hour game vs Towson. Walking away with no injuries is more important than slinging the ball 40 times vs 25.

Les will run his typical gameplan.

He doesn't change.

Against every patsy fans expect a blowout, with LSU comfortably ahead at halftime and resting starters thereafter.

It rarely works out that way.

20:80 ratio through 2 1/2 qtrs isn't so bad zealot. I'm talking with Mett in the game

Passing game looks great

I don't see why they need to work on anything

Has anyone counted the dropped passes from Saturday? Don't want to search. TIA

I counted at least 6 legit passes that hit receivers in the hands

I'm sure it was actually more

Well, Beckham could use a confidence building game to kick start his season. There's one good reason right there to throw the ball against Towson.

No, but we shouldn't call a run play in the 1st quarter.
