To be fair, and obviously generally-speaking, I actually would much rather lose putting the game in the hands of our defense (our stronger unit) than putting the game in the hands of our offense (our weaker unit).
In other words, I would be really pissed if we tried something on offense that ended up losing us a game when we have a defense that wasn't going to give up anything and didn't even give them a chance to win us the ballgame.
You are right....this style sometimes does put a lot of pressure on the defense, but I guess my point is that given the strengths and weaknesses of the respective units, I would MUCH RATHER the pressure be on our defense than to have the pressure on our offense.
