Quick fixes for the offense

1. More passes to J Landry and K Boone, especially down the field. OBJ for whatever reason is in a bit of a slump. He's still good for screens and slot receiver type stuff, but less passes in general need to go his way at this time.
2. Spencer Ware is our best RB both running and blocking. He needs to get the majority of the touches with Ford second and Hilliard for short yardage. Ware being in there more can ease our offensive line woes due to his blocking prowess.
3. No more lining up in multiple TE formations on third and three or longer. We don't use our tight ends in the passing game so it's almost always a run in this formation. Why not use more 3 WR sets with Ware/Copeland in split backs tohelp with blocking and be a safety valve for Mett.
Just my thoughts. Fire away!l

But we need to use the tight ends for something or there would be no use in having ensminger as the badazz te coach that he truly is.

Or third and three or shorter, for that matter. It's a bullshite formation easy to defend.

i like this. wish the o-line would get it together though. would help the coaching staff diversify the offense.

#1 on my list would be not to turn the ball over

Yes, not turning the ball over would help too, but I believe by doing some of these other things, turnovers would be reduced indirectly.

Agreed. I want to see Hillard as the feature back, but with the Oline as it is, Ware is the better option.

Agree with #2 and #3. We are better on short yardage when we are spread out. Disagree about OBJ, Shep should see less passes >10yards.

I'm with you on Shep. Jet sweeps are about all he's good for these days. I'm not giving up on OBJ. He's still our most dangerous open field runner, but he's pressing right now and he's not consistently making the plays that need to be made.
