Another electronic / sample based album from John Fruusciante. It's been released in Japan and will be available in the U.S. on Tuesday.
You can listen to the whole album here: LINK
This one is a slow starter but wow does it deliver. Bike followed by Ratiug are my current favorites.

Thanks for the link, from the samples it sounds like the back half will be pretty strong.

I like John but I can't really get into this one. Wish he'd go back to his raw shite with just him and his guitar. Those albums were phenomenal.

The album is up on Spotify now in higher quality.
If you don't like the album on first listen, give it another shot. I'm not the biggest fan of electronic stuff, but I find this album to be just as raw as Niandra on some songs.
What I like about this album, and what keeps bringing me back for repeated listens, is that I've never heard music quite like this. Maybe I have just not heard a ton of electronic stuff, but the blend of hip hop, R&B, electronics, and rock just makes me smile sometimes. Some of the things that John does with his guitar on this album and Letur Lefur is unprecedented to anything he's ever done.
BTW for all of you vinyl lovers, it looks like most of his albums are going to get a reissue sometime soon. Keep your eyes open.

I really need to get this album soon. I never even got the demos/EP from a year or so ago.

The Letur Lefr EP was very good. This one sounds a bit more experimental, but Frusciante's stuff always blows me away.

As everyone pays way too much to see RHCP sans one of the most talented guitarists of his generation....
