You attended the game?
We definitely had some discipline issues which is expected at times with a new staff... But I'll be damned if that call during our 1st possession of the game didn't screw up our emotions... Especially right after we just stopped Rummel...

St aug will always bitch about refs, but never admit to be one of most undisciplined HS football teams in the NOLA area year in and year out
And still have more titles than Rummel

Like I said, I did attend the game. Rummel dominated 95% of the game. The only bad play Rummel had was the 60 yard td run by Fournette. If you think that the call during the 1st possession of the game caused St. Aug's "emotions" to mess up the whole rest of the game then they have bigger problems.
As far as the onside kick goes, every single player on the field stopped when the whistle blew including the kid who picked it up to try and run it back for a TD. It would have been a sham of a touchdown and if the whistle wouldn't have blown Rummel looked like they had a very good chance to recover the ball.
St. Aug got beat by a better team.
EDIT: Rummel's defense lost one of their best linebackers too during the game and he didn't play the second half.
