re: The Voice---Season long thread

Nobody watching? This thread seems like it dies off every week a little.

First battle, I thought neither was really great. Not sure what they see in Daniel though; I thought Alexis was much better (even though neither was great).

Brandon/Nicole. I love Brandon, mainly because I Wish It Would Rain is one of my all time favorite songs. He has a shyness about him though, and I think that could hurt him in the battle. Nicole is good, but thinks she has it in the bag before it starts, so frick her.

Good battle, and they sang that song really well. And of course, Adam told Nicole to not get too out of control, and Christina said she would've liked to have seen her let loose. Nicole is good, but I hate to see Brandon leave. I was hoping someone would've stolen him. Adam, don't say he should've moved on, cuz you didn't pick him.

Devyn/Marissa Ann. Devyn is fricking hot. Going into this one, I feel like MA isn't gonna win because they never seem to pick young people. Watching it, I thought Devyn did better, and it doesn't hurt that she's hot as frick. Surprised Blake stole MA to be honest.

Side note: It's kinda weird to me that Christina has Billy Joe Armstrong as her assistant...he's not really known for having a good voice, is he? I've always liked Green Day, but he's more punk and has that kinda voice. I dunno, maybe it's my hatred for counttina, but it's just kinda weird to me for some reason.
