Also, forgot to mention earlier, but I did really like the first dude (foreign rocker dude), as well as the gay black chick. Thought they were both solid.

I just didn't feel any emotion from the rocker. He did extremely well, technically, but there didn't seem to be feeling to it. I was surprised when that anyone turned their chair.

Goofy black chick didn't imrpess me at all. Her voice, while on pitch, seemed to be all over the place in a really poor version of Xtina's vocal gymnastics. During the early part of the performance either her timing seemed to be off or something really odd was going on in that her singing didn't seem to match what the band was playing.

I'm interested to see what Bitchtina does with the girl that came out singing her song (which was very impressive) as well as how well Old-Young Black Guy and Indie-Rock dude do.

Thank God they seem to have gone away from the American Idol thing of putting shite talent out there (like the goofy blonde guy last season or that crazy model chick... sheesh!). Yeah, yeah... it's just the first episode but I'm an optimist :p

Yeah. Some of the people though, I'm not sure why they chose the songs they did. Like that chick you mention...that Christina song isn't exactly a song that showcases how good your voice is. I guess maybe she chose it because it is a technically hard song to sing maybe, and to showcase her overall talent..?
