My memories of games at Tiger Stadium start in 1958 when I was 9. In those days, men wore suits and women dressed up in their best dresses. The stadium dorms used to be only easily accessible area to use the restroom. Freshmen wore beanies and pajamas to the game. ROTC was mandatory. The area off of Nicholson on the east side of Nicholson was nothing but grass parking with one huge oak tree. Everyone used to try to get there early to park under that tree.
