The secondary gave up 27 TDs with only 9 picks. Replacing all 4 starters from last year which might not be bad considering, but still no experience on the back end.

N Texas's defensive front seven solid by Sunbelt standards with JR middle LB Zach Orr being the best player @ 6-1 230 lbs.

LSU could run it down their throats and be successful too, but I would hope the staff would let Zach air it out to get ready tougher opponents.

N Texas offense has a solid offensive line with 5 returning starters. They are led by JR QB Derek Thompson. Threw for 1,759 yd, 11 tds, 5 ints, and completed 57% of his passes. They won't run on LSU regardless, but they are probably going to throw more anyway this year. If he gets the time, I'm sure they will test the Jalen's. JR Bralen Chancelor is the returning leading receiver with 37 rec for 457 yds and 3 tds.

I don't think N Texas's o-line will give Thompson enough time considering LSU's d-line, but I would really like to see the Jalen's get tested in this one.

Looked at their depth chart and had a good laugh at a starting DT who is 6'2 266. Enjoy Collins or Williford mowing that arse over.

I don't like to jump to conclusions but I think we are going to win the game.
