Any OB bowhunters that hunt from a climber or lockon that use one of the fanny or waist packs instead of a backpack? Ive looked at the badlands products and some other ones. Just wondering what other bowhunters use and what you guys like the best

Fanny pack here. Worn on my fupa since the stand is in the way. One large general pocket. One smaller zipped area in front for release and arm guard. Two bottle pockets I use for GPS and flashlight.

I use a 3 day pack...more pack than I need for a normal weekend of hunting but its a really nice pack with plenty of room, well built and all has the built in Camelback for my water or gatorade or whatever else I put in it.

Just looked at it. No brand or tag anywhere. Made of fleeece with heavy nylon belt.
I think Mad Dog Gear makes good ones.

at times I would like to go smaller as well since there are times I just drive to the lease and hunt for the day or morning or even just an afternoon. For short sits alot of times I just use the pockets on my saftey harness and on my pants to put a few essentials in and then take off.

I use a backpack. I can set it between my legs on my platform and have easy access to anything I need.
