My cat got out, when I went outside to turn the breaker off and start the generator. I was surprised he ran out in the rain. I can't find him now, it sucks for a pet to get out in this.

Yeah... Cats are pretty hardy though. We had 2 cats that strictly lived outside back in 2005, and they both weathered Katrina. One still hangs around to this day.

We have other cats that are outside now too, and I was concerned about them. We can't bring them inside, so I can only hope that they can handle themselves. (They usually go under our house since it's raised.)
